WorkOS provides modern developer tools for authentication and identity, powering enterprise readiness for companies like OpenAI and Plaid. As a Product Engineer on the Feature Flags team, you will create APIs and interfaces that help developers safely roll out features and experiment across environments.
This position requires an empathetic approach to engineering, focusing on high availability, security, and exceptional developer experience. You will work end-to-end on product features, from initial concept to polished user interface, while gathering feedback to reduce friction for customers.
What you'll do
- Design and engineer intuitive experiences for developers and end users
- Build deep market understanding to drive Feature Flags adoption
- Ensure high availability and security to maintain developer trust
- Engage with customers regularly to gather feedback and debug issues
- Collaborate with product, solutions engineering, and go-to-market teams
- Partner with leadership on new greenfield ideas and initiatives
- Assist in recruiting and assessing future engineering team members
What you'll need
- At least five years of industry software development experience
- Proven ability to work effectively in small, fast-paced teams
- Experience building both polished UI/UX and API services end-to-end
- Intellectually curious and independently driven mindset
- Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
- Passion for creating great products and solving user problems
Nice to have
- Previous experience working on a feature flags platform or product
- Proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Postgres
- Background in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or related industries
