What you'll do
- Build and maintain data scrapers and ingestion pipelines for US government sources
- Use internal tools and AI agents to research sources and develop extraction approaches
- Validate data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability
- Monitor existing sources and improve scraper resilience against failures
- Document source behavior, extraction logic, and data-quality checks
What you'll need
- Experience with TypeScript; Python is valuable for data collection
- Familiarity with web scraping tools like BeautifulSoup, Playwright, or Selenium
- Comfortable working with HTML, APIs, JSON, CSV, and unstructured data
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset for data quality
- Familiarity with Git, debugging, and writing technical documentation
- Interest in using AI agents while carefully validating their output
