As the inaugural Product Manager at Linro, you will define what gets built and in what order for a cloud-security platform designed to stop risks before they ship. You will work directly with founders and engineers, translating customer needs into precise requirements for both human developers and AI agents.
The position requires grounding decisions in direct customer discovery, managing the backlog with explicit criteria, and owning releases end-to-end. You will act as the product voice in sales cycles and ensure the platform meets compliance standards while enabling safe AI-driven infrastructure changes.
What you'll do
- Conduct discovery calls and demos with CISOs and platform leads
- Maintain a ranked backlog based on pain, revenue, and cost
- Write PRDs and decision memos for engineering teams
- Define guardrail behaviors for AI coding agents
- Plan releases and write clear customer-facing notes
- Handle security and compliance questions during sales cycles
What you'll need
- 5+ years in product management for B2B infrastructure or security
- Technical fluency with Terraform, SQL, and APIs
- Experience running customer interviews and pilots personally
- Ability to prioritize competing demands with explicit criteria
- Comfort presenting roadmaps to executives and CISOs
- Daily use of AI tools for research and prototyping
Nice to have
- Experience with policy-as-code tools like OPA or Sentinel
- Background at a CSPM, IaC, or CI/CD vendor
- Zero-to-one product experience at an early-stage startup
