You will own the developer experience for Supabase Auth, managing features such as email, social login, passkeys, MFA, and enterprise SSO. Working closely with engineering, design, and security teams, you will shape how developers authenticate users and manage identity in their applications.
The ideal candidate understands modern authentication protocols and can balance the needs of indie developers with enterprise security requirements. You will drive the product strategy using data and direct customer feedback from various segments.
What you'll do
- Own the Auth roadmap, problem statements, and solution rationale
- Collaborate with customers ranging from indie devs to enterprise teams
- Define authentication workflows for AI agents on Supabase
- Analyze usage data to identify friction points and priorities
- Align Engineering, Design, and GTM teams on the plan of record
What you'll need
- 5+ years in Product Management for developer tools or ex-founder experience
- Experience shipping standards-based auth products like OAuth, OIDC, or SAML
- Ability to navigate both CISO security reviews and developer bug reports
- Familiarity with Postgres and row-level security concepts
- Comfortable working asynchronously and making decisions in writing
Nice to have
- Experience owning auth within an integrated cloud platform
- Track record launching organizations, tenancy, or SSO+SCIM features
- Background designing auth for agents or machine-to-machine systems
- Previous experience shipping projects using Supabase
