Join the MeridianLink Consumer product team to manage a specific domain of the consumer lending origination platform. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive strategy and execution, focusing on high-impact improvements for borrowers and financial institutions.
The position requires balancing strategic planning with agile delivery. You will lead discovery efforts, define roadmaps, and ensure coherence across product areas while integrating modern technologies like AI/ML and APIs.
What you'll do
- Own the product roadmap from discovery through delivery and iteration
- Lead continuous discovery via customer interviews and usage analytics
- Write clear PRDs and user stories for engineering teams
- Drive agile ceremonies and maintain a prioritized backlog
- Define and monitor KPIs to measure business impact
- Collaborate with PMs to ensure platform-level alignment
- Partner with Engineering, UX, Sales, and Compliance
- Identify opportunities for AI/ML and intelligent automation
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of product management experience
- Proven track record of end-to-end product ownership
- Experience managing API-integrated software products
- Strong command of agile methodologies and discovery practices
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in product analytics tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Deep customer empathy and insight translation abilities
Nice to have
- Domain experience in consumer lending or LOS
- Familiarity with API/integration products and developer needs
- Exposure to AI/ML in product contexts
- Experience working with banks or credit unions
- Knowledge of consumer lending regulations like TILA and ECOA
