What you'll do

  • Define acceptance criteria and phased deliverables for Compliance sign-off before engineering begins.
  • Manage intake processes to align compliance policy changes with investigator workflows.
  • Reconcile standard operating procedures with actual system behavior to identify process or technical fixes.
  • Ensure auditability through data lineage, evidence retention, and validation of suppression logic.
  • Implement AI and automation features with human-in-the-loop controls for regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate regular updates and delivery status reports with engineering and adjacent product teams.

What you'll need

  • 4+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years in financial-crime systems.
  • Knowledge of AML program examinations, regulatory questions, and model validation processes.
  • Technical fluency to discuss data flows and system design deeply with engineering teams.
  • Proven track record of shipping internal tools that measurably improve operations team efficiency.
  • Strong writing skills for PRDs, phase plans, audit walkthroughs, and executive updates.
  • Judgement to manage stakeholder expectations regarding realistic timelines and requirements.

Nice to have

  • Direct FIU experience such as alert disposition, SAR/STR filing, or leading investigators.
  • Experience with crypto assets, blockchain analytics, or wallet-level transaction analysis.
  • Background in shipping AI or ML solutions into regulated investigative workflows.
