This Product Manager II role operates as a strategic resource within the Fintech & Earnings division, rotating to teams with the most urgent product needs each quarter. You will drive initiatives in underwriting, credit building, and earnings growth, directly influencing key business metrics.
The position requires a builder who leverages AI coding assistants to create prototypes and occasionally ships code to production. You will collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance to launch financial products that serve millions of members.
What you'll do
- Rotate across Fintech teams quarterly to address the most pressing product challenges
- Own roadmaps, PRDs, and experiment plans tied to profit and retention metrics
- Build working prototypes using AI coding tools to validate ideas with users
- Ship small features and experiments to production when appropriate
- Use AI to synthesize research, query data, and analyze opportunities
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure financial products are fair and clear
- Document decisions and results for smooth handoffs between team rotations
What you'll need
- 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in consumer startups
- Hands-on experience building with AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor
- Daily use of AI tools for strategy and analysis with strong judgment
- Proven ability to ramp up quickly in new domains and deliver results
- Experience designing experiments and interpreting data in Amplitude
- Strong writing skills for creating actionable PRDs and documentation
- Technical depth sufficient to discuss architecture with engineers
Nice to have
- Experience with fintech products like cash advances or credit building
- Background launching products in regulated industries with legal partners
- Experience implementing AI workflows and shared prompts for teams
