Join EverAI as a Trust & Safety Product Manager to own the delivery of compliance and safety features across our platforms. You will translate legal requirements and incident findings into product capabilities, working closely with Engineering, AI/ML, and Legal teams to protect users while supporting legitimate expression.
This newly created position offers significant ownership from the start, reporting directly to the CTO and Legal & Safety Lead. You will shape the safety product function as the company scales its user base of over 50 million.
What you'll do
- Translate safety policies and legal requirements into clear product specifications and engineering tasks
- Manage product improvements for in-house moderation systems and proprietary LLM technology
- Lead the lifecycle of third-party safety partnerships from evaluation to implementation and monitoring
- Establish dashboards and QA processes to proactively identify emerging safety issues
- Conduct red teaming and adversarial testing to validate moderation system responses
- Run Trust & Safety reviews for new features to identify foreseeable misuse early in design
- Coordinate product and engineering responses to significant safety incidents
What you'll need
- Proven ability to make data-driven product decisions aligned with legal and ethical standards
- Experience running A/B tests, experiments, or user research to influence product direction
- Deep understanding of content moderation strategies including automation and human review
- Background in translating trust and safety compliance requirements for consumer products
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, legal, and support teams
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools and experimenting with new techniques autonomously
- Ability to manage third-party integrations affecting compliance and safety posture
- Comfortable working with uncensored models and reviewing NSFW AI-generated content
Nice to have
- Previous education in law or compliance
- Professional experience or strong interest in AI technologies
- Background in consumer-facing entertainment or gaming industries
