Join EverAI as a Trust & Safety Product Manager to own the delivery of compliance and safety features across a platform serving 50 million users. You will translate legal requirements and safety policies into product capabilities, working closely with the CTO and Legal Lead to build safeguards into new AI-driven features.
The role requires balancing user protection with legitimate expression in an environment that permits lawful adult content. You will drive improvements to internal moderation technologies, manage third-party safety integrations, and establish rigorous testing protocols to ensure system reliability.
What you'll do
- Translate safety policies and legal requirements into clear product specifications and engineering tasks
- Own product improvements for in-house moderation systems including the proprietary EverGuard LLM
- Manage the lifecycle of third-party safety partnerships from evaluation to implementation and monitoring
- Establish dashboards and QA processes to proactively identify emerging safety issues
- Lead red teaming and adversarial testing to validate moderation responses to misuse
- Conduct Trust & Safety reviews for new features to identify foreseeable risks early
- Coordinate product and engineering responses to significant safety incidents
What you'll need
- Proven ability to make data-driven product decisions aligned with legal and ethical standards
- Experience running A/B tests, experiments, or user research to shape product development
- Deep understanding of content moderation strategies including automation and human review
- Experience translating trust and safety compliance requirements for consumer-facing products
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, legal, and support teams
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools and experimenting with new techniques autonomously
- Ability to manage third-party tool integrations affecting compliance and safety
- Comfortable working with uncensored models and reviewing NSFW material
Nice to have
- Previous education in law or compliance
- Professional experience or strong interest in AI technologies
