Join HackerOne’s Technical Services team to help customers identify and remediate security vulnerabilities. You will evaluate reports from the global researcher community, validate findings using tools like Burp Suite, and ensure high-quality communication between hackers and clients. This role supports the company’s AI-powered offensive security platform.
What you'll do
- Evaluate vulnerability reports for validity, severity, and business impact
- Reproduce reported issues in web and mobile applications independently
- Collaborate with researchers to clarify technical details and improve report quality
- Create concise summaries with reproduction steps and remediation guidance
- Leverage automation and AI workflows to enhance triage efficiency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure timely vulnerability handling
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and documentation
What you'll need
- 3+ years of hands-on security testing or ethical hacking experience
- Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common app vulnerabilities
- Experience with security tools like Burp Suite and CVSS scoring
- Excellent English communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness to work weekends with two weekdays off
Nice to have
- Experience in bug bounty or vulnerability disclosure programs
- Familiarity with scripting or automation for security workflows
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, distributed environment
