Join the Security team at WorkOS to protect the data and identities of millions of users. You will collaborate with engineering to embed security into products by default, leveraging AI and automation to scale efforts. The team values pragmatic risk reduction and hands-on system defense.
What you'll do
- Partner with engineering on secure design and code reviews
- Build paved paths to make secure development the easiest option
- Conduct penetration tests and adversarial code audits
- Integrate static analysis and supply chain security tooling
- Manage and automate the responsible disclosure program
- Write and ship code to remediate production vulnerabilities
- Address customer security questions to build trust
What you'll need
- 5+ years in security engineering or security-focused software roles
- Experience with security assessments and penetration testing
- Familiarity with common industry security tooling
- Proven ability to identify vulnerabilities via CVEs or bug bounties
- Strong communication skills for partnering with engineers
- Comfortable reading and writing code
- Ability to leverage AI in security workflows
Nice to have
- Experience in authentication and identity domains
- Background writing production-level security features
