You will serve as the link between complex commercial property claims handling and the engineering teams building automation tools. Your expertise will help define workflows, data standards, and decision frameworks that improve speed and consistency for insurers.
This position requires deep hands-on experience in claims adjustment to guide product strategy. You will work with cross-functional teams to solve friction points in the claim lifecycle, from first notice of loss to settlement.
What you'll do
- Map the claim lifecycle to identify friction points and improvement opportunities
- Translate claims expertise into product requirements and decision frameworks
- Define standards for investigation, coverage analysis, and damage assessment
- Identify workflows where automation or AI can improve consistency and speed
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Analytics to drive product improvements
- Serve as internal authority on Commercial Property claims processes
What you'll need
- Deep hands-on Commercial Property claims experience as adjuster or leader
- Strong knowledge of full claim lifecycle from FNOL to closure
- Ability to navigate complex coverage and financial considerations
- Skill in evaluating workflows and identifying root causes of issues
- Comfort owning ambiguous work with significant operational impact
- Curiosity about automation paired with judgment on human controls
