Join Halter as a pioneer in South America, working directly with early adopters to deploy virtual fencing technology for cattle. You will bridge the gap between local farming practices and the product team in New Zealand, ensuring the solution delivers real value.
This hands-on role requires deep engagement with producers in Uruguay, translating field observations into actionable product improvements. You will help shape the market entry strategy while supporting customers in adopting sustainable grazing practices.
What you'll do
- Deploy Halter hardware and software on farms with initial customers
- Build strong relationships with producers to understand their operations
- Translate field insights into clear feedback for product and engineering teams
- Educate the company on nuances of South American cattle production
- Identify product improvements and necessary features for the local market
- Ensure customers achieve tangible results using the Halter system
- Collaborate with commercial teams to align on scaling strategies
What you'll need
- Proven experience in South American cattle production is mandatory
- Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English
- Comfortable using technology and curious about product mechanics
- Strong communication skills for translating field data to remote teams
- Ability to think critically and solve problems in ambiguous situations
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as needed
- Resilience and drive to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
