Join LILT as a Project Manager for Applied AI, where you will orchestrate large-scale data operations for machine learning models. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of multilingual data projects, ensuring high quality and throughput for LLM training and evaluation.
This position serves as the operational backbone for AI development, requiring close collaboration with technical teams and global crowd pools. You will translate technical requirements into actionable guidelines and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
What you'll do
- Manage full lifecycle of AI data projects from scoping to delivery
- Oversee large-scale pipelines for multilingual data collection and LLM eval
- Monitor KPIs including throughput, quality scores, and worker efficiency
- Conduct root-cause analysis for quality dips and train annotator pools
- Maintain dashboards to visualize project health and flag bottlenecks
- Coordinate with global data experts to ensure linguistic accuracy
- Translate technical requirements into clear guidelines for annotators
What you'll need
- 3-5+ years of project management experience in AI/ML data operations
- Strong understanding of LLM training processes like SFT and RLHF
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis
- Ability to write SQL queries to extract and analyze performance data
- Proven track record using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
- Exceptional ability to write clear guidelines for multilingual audiences
Nice to have
- Fluency in a second language
- Experience with data annotation platforms like Scale AI
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira
- Background in ML Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science
