Join the core contributors behind Injective, an interoperable smart contracts platform optimized for decentralized finance. You will work with a global development team to implement chain features, improve scalability, and enhance the ecosystem's performance.
The position focuses on building critical infrastructure such as the decentralized orderbook and Layer-2 execution environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver robust blockchain solutions.
What you'll do
- Build and test core protocol components like the decentralized orderbook and order matcher
- Optimize consensus, state management, and financial infrastructure of the blockchain
- Write open-source Golang clients for direct protocol and smart contract interaction
- Research and develop new blockchain features and technologies
- Collaborate with front-end, back-end, and QA teams to deliver solutions
- Engage with external partners and open-source communities to enhance the ecosystem
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of experience as a Blockchain Engineer
- Prior experience working in trading or on an exchange
- Experience with two or more large, performant production Golang codebases
- Strong knowledge of Go idioms, libraries, and parallel processing
- Deep understanding of blockchain, DeFi, DEX concepts, and consensus mechanisms
- Familiarity with CosmWasm contract platform and CS fundamentals like API design
Nice to have
- Experience with Cosmos-SDK and Tendermint
- Knowledge of cryptography libraries used by Ethereum and Cosmos
- Experience with key-value databases, particularly those in cosmos-sdk
- Background in Ethereum, Solidity, or Layer-2 solutions
- Understanding of financial instruments and markets
