Join Anyone AI as an independent consultant working on scoped software engineering projects for a major AI laboratory. You will tackle challenges such as debugging, refactoring, and implementing new features in production systems while managing your own schedule.
What you'll do
- Debug and resolve issues in complex, multi-file codebases
- Implement new backend or full-stack functionality
- Refactor existing systems and handle migrations
- Develop and extend unit and integration test suites
- Write clear technical specifications and reference implementations
- Review code submissions for correctness and quality
- Identify edge cases and potential failure modes
- Validate alignment of requirements, code, and tests
What you'll need
- 2–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go
- Backend or full-stack experience with production systems
- Experience with testing frameworks like pytest or Jest
- Ability to navigate and debug large codebases
- Advanced professional written proficiency in English
