As the primary owner of data quality for your project, you will define and execute the data validation and automation strategy. You will collaborate with data engineering, product, and data science teams to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and performance of data pipelines while overseeing release readiness.
What you'll do
- Define data validation and automation strategy for platform features
- Design complex test cases for backend data systems and pipelines
- Leverage AI tools to prototype test suites and diagnose failures
- Develop scalable data automation frameworks and quality monitoring
- Establish QA best practices and enforce coding standards
- Champion automation-first approach to minimize manual testing
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent
- 7–10 years in Software Quality Assurance with leadership experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries and validation
- Understanding of ETL/ELT workflows and data warehouse architecture
- Strong proficiency in Python for reading and debugging pipeline code
- Experience designing automated test frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Proactive use of AI-powered tools for test authoring and debugging
- Experience managing full release cycles for data features
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
