You will own the testing of the Pod trading experience, ensuring critical flows like order placement, wallet connections, and fund management work correctly. Working closely with engineering and product teams, you will define test cases, perform exploratory testing, and gradually automate key checks to maintain high release quality.
What you'll do
- Test new features and releases before they ship to users
- Perform exploratory testing on trading screens, charts, and onboarding flows
- Verify accuracy of order status, fills, balances, positions, and fees
- Test application behavior across various browsers, devices, and network conditions
- Build and maintain an automated test suite for key user flows
- Write detailed bug reports with reproduction steps and console logs
- Collaborate with engineers to verify fixes and ensure successful releases
What you'll need
- Experience in QA or software testing for web or mobile products
- Strong manual and exploratory testing skills with clear documentation
- Ability to write code in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python for automation
- Close attention to detail regarding numbers, balances, and state changes
- Comfortable using browser dev tools to inspect network requests and errors
- Experience with end-to-end or browser-based test automation
- Strong ownership of release quality and issue resolution
Nice to have
- Experience testing trading platforms, exchanges, or fintech apps
- Familiarity with token bridging, deposits, withdrawals, and on-chain assets
- Personal experience trading crypto, perpetual futures, or derivatives
- Knowledge of crypto wallets like MetaMask or WalletConnect
- Experience with tools such as Postman, Dappwright, and Anvil
