We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to establish scalable quality practices for mobile applications and platform services. You will blend exploratory testing, automation, and API validation to verify features before release. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will identify risks early and improve regression coverage.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute exploratory, functional, regression, and mobile testing
- Develop and maintain automated tests for critical workflows and APIs
- Integrate automated checks into CI/CD pipelines and resolve flaky tests
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps and evidence
- Participate in release planning and communicate quality risks
- Partner with engineers to improve testability and prevent recurring issues
- Validate AI-generated code for security and reliability
What you'll need
- 3+ years in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
- Strong experience in both exploratory and automated testing
- Proficiency in testing mobile applications and APIs
- Programming skills to design and debug automated tests
- Working knowledge of Git, code review, and CI/CD
- Ability to use generative AI tools while maintaining code ownership
- Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication
Nice to have
- Experience with social, media, or consumer applications
- Testing real-time features like messaging or live feeds
- Knowledge of monetization, payments, or subscription flows
- Familiarity with mobile automation frameworks
- Experience with cloud-based applications and distributed systems
- Background in accessibility and performance testing
