Amperos is an AI-native platform for healthcare denial management and revenue recovery. As an RCM QA Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy of work produced by both human billing associates and AI agents. You will audit claims, identify root causes of errors, and develop scalable quality controls to maintain high standards for clients.
What you'll do
- Audit claim work for action accuracy, issue accuracy, and documentation quality
- Evaluate AI agent outputs against source of truth to flag errors and drift
- Build and maintain QA scorecards, trackers, and dashboards in Excel or Sheets
- Design automated or rule-based checks to catch recurring errors early
- Identify root causes of errors and provide specific coaching to staff
- Report AI error patterns to Product and Engineering with detailed examples
- Calibrate QA standards across reviewers and maintain quality rubrics
- Track appeal outcomes and other key quality performance indicators
What you'll need
- At least 4 years in RCM, AR follow-up, or denial management
- Proven track record of high accuracy and strong production volume
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets including pivot tables and lookups
- Strong ability to find root causes rather than just identifying pass/fail
- Detail-oriented with clear documentation of quality standards
- Comfortable evaluating AI-generated work and providing structured feedback
- Available to work US Eastern Time hours from 9am to 6pm
Nice to have
- Experience with SQL or querying claim data directly
- Familiarity with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Metabase
- Background in building QA automation or rule-based quality checks
- Exposure to PM systems such as ModMed, NextGen, or Athenahealth
