SpaceXSI is developing Super Intelligence technologies, including Colossus supercomputers and Grok models. The Forward Deployed Engineering team bridges the gap between customer expectations and actual value by embedding directly with client engineering teams.
As Regional Director, you will scale this team across strategic enterprise accounts. You will oversee project delivery, manage stakeholder relationships, and train partner consultants to extend this operational model.
What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery and executive closing for strategic accounts
- Build proposals that define concrete deliverables and clear ROI
- Serve as executive technical sponsor for high-priority engagements
- Ensure delivery quality through scoping and milestone tracking
- Escalate product gaps and integration friction to internal teams
- Manage and develop a team of six to eight Forward Deployed Engineers
- Hire top-tier talent and set technical performance standards
- Train and enable GSI and consulting partners to scale operations
What you'll need
- Eight or more years leading technical teams shipping production code
- Experience in Forward Deployed or Solutions Engineering roles
- Proficiency in software development using Python
- Proficiency in software development using Javascript or Typescript
- Track record of building AI-native workflows in production environments
- Ability to diagnose complex enterprise engineering environments quickly
- Experience scaling individual contributor technical teams
