SpaceXSI is developing Super Intelligence technologies, including Colossus supercomputers and the Grok model suite. This leadership position focuses on bridging the gap between enterprise customer expectations and actual value delivery by embedding engineers directly with client teams.
You will manage a group of Forward Deployed Engineers, oversee high-stakes project delivery, and establish partner tracks to scale operations. The role requires balancing technical credibility with executive relationship management to drive adoption of AI-native workflows.
What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery and executive closing for strategic accounts
- Translate ambiguous customer problems into concrete, time-boxed deliverables
- Serve as executive technical sponsor for high-priority engagements
- Manage stakeholder relationships from engineers to C-suite executives
- Identify product gaps and escalate issues to drive roadmap decisions
- Hire, develop, and scale a team of 6–8 Forward Deployed Engineers
- Build and enable a partner track for GSI and consulting firms
What you'll need
- 8+ years leading technical teams that ship production code
- Experience in Forward Deployed or Solutions Engineering roles
- Proficiency in software development with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proven track record building AI-native workflows in production environments
- Ability to diagnose complex enterprise engineering environments quickly
- Experience scaling individual contributor technical teams
