You will lead the IT Application team providing functional support for Production Planning, Quality Management, and Plant Maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting production issues, managing incidents, and driving continuous improvement in SAP environments.
Responsibilities include mentoring junior consultants, performing root-cause analysis, and coordinating with business stakeholders to resolve complex integration issues across MM, SD, and FICO modules.
What you'll do
- Lead Tier-2/3 SAP functional support for MAKE business processes
- Troubleshoot production issues and analyze MRP logs
- Mentor junior consultants and maintain knowledge bases
- Drive root-cause analysis and permanent fixes for recurring issues
- Review solutions and enhancements before production deployment
- Coordinate with business, development, and Basis teams
- Participate in UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities
What you'll need
- 8-12 years of SAP experience with full-cycle implementations
- Strong expertise in at least two of PP, QM, or PM
- Deep understanding of production order lifecycle and master data
- Experience integrating with MM, QM, FI-CO, EWM, or MES
- Proven hands-on support experience and incident triage skills
- Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
- Currently located within the United States
Nice to have
- Exposure to Fiori Applications and Clean Core approach
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager or ChaRM
- Familiarity with S/4HANA conversions and embedded analytics
- Understanding of ABAP debugging and log analysis
- Knowledge of automated testing tools like Jira X-Ray
