Join Edison Scientific to help measure and enhance the capabilities of AI scientist agents. You will collaborate with a team of scientists and engineers to create evaluation datasets, focusing on information synthesis, hypothesis generation, and experimental design interpretation.
What you'll do
- Annotate or evaluate outputs from AI systems performing scientific work
- Generate or review tasks used to evaluate AI scientific capabilities
- Complete evaluation tasks as a human expert for baselining purposes
- Interact with Edison’s internal tools in various capacities
What you'll need
- Hold a PhD or be currently pursuing one in Biology or related field
- Advanced degrees in other scientific disciplines are considered
- Ability to devote at least five hours per week to the project
- Interest in using AI to accelerate scientific discovery
How you'll work
- Part-time 1099 contract position
- Compensation structured per deliverable
- Rates average approximately $100 per hour
