As a Tier 3 Security Analyst at 7AI, you will serve as the technical lead and escalation point for reviewing AI-driven security investigations. You will validate the accuracy of automated responses, hunt for emerging threats in customer environments, and help design processes that allow the team to scale while maintaining high quality.
What you'll do
- Review and validate AI agent investigations for accuracy and risk assessment
- Serve as technical escalation point and mentor for junior analysts
- Correlate data across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network sources
- Investigate malicious activity and assess prevented risk for customers
- Hunt for emerging threats using AI agents and feed detections back to product
- Support customers with threat monitoring, triage, and alert prioritization
- Communicate technical findings to stakeholders ranging from analysts to CISOs
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product to tune the platform
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of experience in security operations
- Hands-on experience investigating alerts across multiple security domains
- Strong understanding of XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and IDP tools
- Familiarity with log and telemetry concepts
- Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and incident triage methodologies
- Ability to verify AI-driven analysis and make independent security decisions
- Experience with SIEM query languages such as SPL, KQL, FQL, or SQL
- Strong knowledge of malware analysis methods
- Proven track record of mentoring others and teaching complex concepts
Nice to have
- Experience working in a managed services environment
- Prior incident handling experience
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, GSEC, or GCIH
