The team handles AWS infrastructure, GitHub organization management, and compliance efforts for standards like SOC, HIPAA, and HITRUST. Your work will directly impact how the company demonstrates alignment with regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
- Develop playbooks for security tasks in AWS serverless environments
- Improve security posture across applications and endpoints
- Manage access controls, email gateways, and data loss prevention
- Collaborate with engineering on CI/CD pipelines and design reviews
- Secure AWS organization using infrastructure as code
- Enforce security controls and ensure strong tenant isolation
- Assess vulnerabilities and perform regular risk assessments
What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience in engineering or security roles
- Familiarity with SOC, HIPAA, or HITRUST frameworks
- 4+ years working with AWS services and governance tools
- Experience with AWS Organizations, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty
- Proficiency in TypeScript
- Ability to prioritize work based on business needs
- Capacity to handle multiple areas and context switch effectively
