Join Air Apps as a Security Engineer to safeguard systems against cyber threats. You will collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement secure coding practices, conduct penetration testing, and manage incident response.
Based in the Lisbon office, you will help build a resilient security lifecycle for an AI-powered resource planner used by millions worldwide.
What you'll do
- Develop threat models to identify risks across apps and infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and security assessments
- Define and enforce secure coding practices with development teams
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and automate testing with DevOps
- Monitor security incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Ensure compliance with standards like ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2
- Design IAM policies, encryption standards, and authentication mechanisms
- Review security of features, APIs, and third-party integrations
What you'll need
- At least 4 years in cybersecurity, app security, or security engineering
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and threat modeling techniques
- Experience with Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite, and pen testing methods
- Hands-on work with SIEM, IDS, and security monitoring tools
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks
- Familiarity with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of encryption protocols, network security, and API security
- Experience integrating security into DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
