Join Air Apps as a Security Engineer to safeguard systems against cyber threats. You will collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement secure coding practices and automate security testing within the software development lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Develop threat models to identify risks across apps and infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and assessments
- Enforce secure coding practices with development teams
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and automate testing
- Monitor incidents, perform root cause analysis, and mitigate threats
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2 standards
- Design IAM policies, encryption standards, and authentication mechanisms
- Review security of features, APIs, and third-party integrations
What you'll need
- At least 4 years in cybersecurity or application security
- Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and threat modeling
- Experience with Nessus, Qualys, Burp Suite, or similar tools
- Hands-on experience with SIEM and intrusion detection systems
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation
- Familiarity with cloud security in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of encryption, network security, and API security
- Experience integrating security into DevSecOps workflows
