You will serve as the primary security partner for the software engineering organization, embedding security into every phase of the development lifecycle. The team champions secure design, conducts code reviews, and integrates security tooling into CI/CD pipelines to protect youth sports platforms.
What you'll do
- Embed security practices into all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Conduct security-by-design engagements for new features and APIs
- Perform secure code reviews and provide actionable remediation guidance
- Integrate and maintain security tooling within CI/CD pipelines
- Triage vulnerabilities from sources like GHAS, Wiz, and BugCrowd
- Support implementation of WAFs and CDN security controls
- Communicate security risks clearly to engineering and business leaders
What you'll need
- 3+ years in application security engineering with mobile ecosystem experience
- Experience building internal security developer platforms or tooling
- Hands-on experience with threat modeling and secure design patterns
- Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for web, mobile, API, and LLM
- Experience securing AWS deployments with Kubernetes and IaC scanning
- Expertise in security-by-design for TypeScript, Swift, or Kotlin
- Ability to use AI/ML-driven tools to enhance security effectiveness

- Remote-first company based in New York City
- Work remotely from anywhere in the US except restricted states
- Member of weekly on-call rotation
