The position requires deep expertise in network protocols and cloud security principles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement zero trust methodologies and educate partners on security best practices.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy security measures across network perimeters and internal fabrics
- Champion Zero Trust models enforcing least-privilege access and micro-segmentation
- Establish monitoring for security events and coordinate incident response efforts
- Secure high-density GPU clusters and ultra-low latency backend fabrics
- Educate cross-functional teams on network security principles and policies
- Refine and enforce security policies for scalable distributed environments
What you'll need
- 3-7 years of hands-on network security engineering experience
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, HTTP/S, and firewall configs
- Experience securing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proven track record protecting complex distributed systems at scale
- Ability to mitigate DDoS attacks and defend against web exploits
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience in top-tier cloud provider or hyperscale environments
- Proficiency in Python or Go for automating security tasks
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipeline security
- Active involvement in security community or open-source projects
