Join the Security Engineering & Architecture team as an embedded partner to product, data, and technology groups. You will translate business goals into practical security designs, creating reusable patterns for SaaS, APIs, and AI workflows to enable safe innovation.
What you'll do
- Assess end-to-end architectures for SaaS, APIs, data services, and AI systems
- Facilitate threat reviews and document security decisions with delivery teams
- Maintain a library of secure-by-design patterns for integrations and credentials
- Partner with product and enterprise architecture teams early in design phases
- Evaluate vendor security during SaaS selection and procurement processes
- Collaborate with platform engineering to automate security guardrails
- Provide technical security support for AI-enabled products and data boundaries
- Support enterprise data strategy and M&A activities with robust architecture
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in security architecture, cloud security, or software engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in a dedicated security role
- Proven track record securing distributed systems with SaaS and APIs
- Ability to analyze unfamiliar architectures and identify material risks
- Experience partnering with business and engineering teams on solutions
- Pragmatic approach to balancing security requirements with business context
Nice to have
- Hands-on engineering background with business collaboration experience
- Experience in SaaS-rich environments with AI-enabled workflows
- Familiarity with data security concepts like DLP and encryption
- Background in financial services, wealth management, or regulated industries
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or cloud security credentials
