Attio is looking for a Security Engineering Lead to establish and guide its Product Security function. You will work with engineering leadership to ensure the platform is secure by design, addressing risks specific to AI-driven features and assisted development. The role requires leading incident response efforts and building a high-performing team of security engineers and SecOps practitioners.
What you'll do
- Build and lead the Product Security function covering app security and ops
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to implement secure-by-design principles
- Mitigate risks associated with AI-driven features and AI-assisted coding
- Lead production security incident response from detection to resolution
- Recruit, retain, and mentor a team of Security Engineers and SecOps staff
What you'll need
- Deep knowledge of Application Security in high-scale multi-tenant SaaS
- Expertise in prevention, detection, and remediation tools for SaaS apps
- Ability to integrate security tools into scalable and cost-efficient programs
- Strong incident response skills across the full lifecycle
- Proven ability to recruit and develop high-quality security teams
Nice to have
- Experience running AppSec programs in large multi-tenant SaaS environments
- Background in hiring and managing security engineering teams
- Familiarity with security certification and re-certification processes
- Project or program management experience
- Prior background in software engineering or systems administration
