Attio is looking for a Security Engineering Lead to establish and guide its Product Security function, covering application security and operations. You will collaborate with engineering leadership to ensure secure-by-design principles while addressing unique risks from AI-driven features and assisted development.
The role requires leading production incident responses, defining remediation plans, and building a world-class team of Security Engineers and SecOps practitioners. You will help secure sensitive customer data on a large-scale platform trusted by ambitious go-to-market teams.
What you'll do
- Build and lead the Product Security function spanning app security and ops
- Secure the large-scale, AI-native SaaS platform and sensitive customer data
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to ensure secure-by-design practices
- Mitigate risks and attack vectors related to AI-driven product features
- Lead production security incident response and drive resolution
- Recruit and retain a high-quality team of Security Engineers and SecOps staff
What you'll need
- Deep understanding of Application Security in high-scale, multi-tenant SaaS
- Knowledge of tools for prevention, detection, and remediation of security issues
- Ability to integrate security tools into a scalable and cost-efficient program
- Strong incident response skills across detection, remediation, and cleanup
- Proven ability to recruit, mentor, and develop an Information Security team
Nice to have
- Experience running an Application Security program in multi-tenant SaaS
- Background in hiring and managing Security Engineers
- Experience with security certification and re-certification programs
- Project or program management experience
- Background in software engineering or systems administration
