Join the AMER Solutions Architecture team as a security specialist overlay. You will handle complex security, privacy, and compliance discussions for deals in financial services, healthcare, and the public sector. Acting as the technical authority, you will engage with CISOs and security architects to validate deployment patterns and ensure regulatory alignment.
What you'll do
- Support AMER opportunities by addressing security, privacy, and compliance questions alongside account teams.
- Lead technical discussions with CISOs and GRC teams, translating architecture into recognized control frameworks.
- Design and validate secure deployment patterns including network isolation, encryption, and identity federation.
- Conduct threat modeling and architecture reviews with customer security teams through POC and production.
- Serve as the internal authority on compliance postures such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Improve the efficiency of security questionnaires and RFP responses by building a reusable answer library.
- Develop security playbooks and enable sales engineers to handle routine security inquiries independently.
What you'll need
- Significant customer-facing technical experience at a data platform, analytics, or database company.
- Deep understanding of data architecture combined with expertise in cloud and data security controls.
- Proficiency in IAM, key management, cryptography, network isolation, and secure multi-tenancy.
- Working knowledge of enterprise frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
- Familiarity with US public-sector requirements including FedRAMP, CMMC, and state privacy laws.
- Proven credibility in presenting to security buyers and CISOs during high-stakes evaluations.
