Join Oath as a senior hire shaping how AI transforms the audit industry. You will own client engagements end-to-end, defining what correct audit output looks like and ensuring it meets regulatory standards.
Instead of managing staff workpapers, you will design the logic for AI systems, create evaluation frameworks, and serve as the primary point of contact for complex client queries regarding AI-generated financial evidence.
What you'll do
- Manage client relationships from onboarding through engagement renewal
- Lead high-stakes audits and resolve complex methodology questions
- Explain AI-generated work products to finance teams and fund managers
- Plan engagements by assessing risk and setting materiality scopes
- Review and sign off on AI-generated workpapers and verification procedures
- Document judgment calls on evidence sufficiency for peer reviewers
- Write and maintain audit methodologies for AI workflow integration
- Design test cases and evaluations to prove AI workflow reliability
- Mentor Accounting Engineers and assist in hiring new team members
What you'll need
- Senior accounting and audit professional background
- Ability to turn unstructured problems into reliable systems
- Experience with private funds, SPVs, or nonprofit audits
- Strong understanding of AICPA auditing and attestation standards
- Capacity to work with ambiguity in an early-stage startup
