You will lead the architecture and development of agentic AI systems, connecting developer productivity tools, enterprise intelligence, and user-facing features. This hands-on role requires daily coding, architectural design, and mentorship to drive the company's AI strategy across three distinct layers.
What you'll do
- Lead design of agent architectures including planning, memory, and tool calling
- Build robust backends with clean APIs for React or Web frontends
- Design agentic workflows to assist with coding, testing, and CI/CD processes
- Build data ingestion, retrieval, and memory layers over internal systems
- Ship predictive customer-facing features with strict data isolation and security
- Establish standards for deploying, monitoring, and optimizing agentic systems
- Conduct technical reviews and mentor the engineering team on AI systems
What you'll need
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with Python, TypeScript, C#, Go, or Java
- 2+ years building production applications with LLMs and prompt engineering
- Experience shipping agentic or complex LLM systems at scale with RAG knowledge
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen
- Solid experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure using containers and serverless
- Expert grasp of API design, distributed systems, and multi-tenant security
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mentoring mindset
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud-native AI services like Vertex AI or AWS Bedrock
- Familiarity with cross-language interop and polyglot architecture
- Knowledge of LLM observability tools like OpenTelemetry or LangSmith
- Understanding of AI safety practices and evaluation methods
