Join a lean Technology team to design and ship agentic workflows that interact with internal tools and user-facing products. This hands-on engineering position focuses on turning AI capabilities into reliable, usable systems rather than prototypes.
You will write code daily using modern AI tooling, taking ideas from concept to production with an emphasis on speed and practical business value. The role requires deep understanding of how LLMs behave in live environments.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy production-grade AI agents and end-to-end agentic workflows
- Integrate LLMs with internal systems, APIs, and data sources ensuring reliability
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize and ship AI features
- Own and improve RAG pipelines including chunking, embedding, and retrieval strategies
- Build evaluation frameworks with golden datasets and automated quality scoring
- Optimize model routing and tiering to improve unit economics and output quality
- Instrument AI layer for observability including cost, token usage, and anomaly detection
What you'll need
- 7+ years shipping production software systems including distributed backends and APIs
- 2+ years building production RAG systems using vector databases like Pinecone or Qdrant
- Experience deploying AI agents or multi-step LLM workflows in production environments
- Built or contributed to evaluation frameworks for LLM-based products
- Reduced LLM API costs through routing, caching, or architectural improvements
- Worked across multiple LLM providers such as OpenAI or Anthropic
- Proficient in both TypeScript and Python
