You will anchor TRM’s in-region targeting capability, working with investigators to trace illicit activity across Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand. By combining cell triangulation, IP geolocation, and on-chain attribution, you will build targeting packages for government partners and internal teams.
This is a foundational role establishing TRM’s APAC field presence. You will process high-volume investigative returns and translate regional collection into actionable disruption strategies against scam compound operators.
What you'll do
- Execute end-to-end intelligence and OSINT operations against scam infrastructure
- Trace scam compounds using cell triangulation, IP geolocation, and adtech analysis
- Identify operators and movement patterns across Southeast Asia
- Process investigative returns and feed data into intelligence pipelines
- Pivot from single leads to uncover broader operational networks
- Collaborate with Scams SMEs and on-chain analysts to build targeting packages
- Support government enforcement actions with regional intelligence
What you'll need
- Must hold US Citizenship
- Requires Bangkok presence or extensive APAC travel
- 5-8+ years in all-source investigative or targeting roles
- Background in federal law enforcement, Intelligence Community, or equivalent
- Experience building targeting packages for law enforcement partners
- Hands-on OSINT tradecraft including GEOINT and infrastructure attribution
- Strong link and pattern analysis skills
- Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate investigative workflows

- Field experience in Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, or Cambodia
- Regional language skills
- Financial crime or cryptocurrency investigation experience
