Constructor builds an in-house search and discovery engine for major ecommerce brands, processing over a billion queries daily. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will transform this massive volume of behavioral data into reliable products that drive business decisions.
You will combine technical expertise with business acumen to design pipelines, models, and dashboards. The team values empathy and curiosity, working on the bleeding edge of AI to optimize revenue and conversion metrics.
What you'll do
- Design and build data pipelines and models for analytics and reporting
- Create dashboards and tools to make large-scale data usable and trustworthy
- Define and validate business metrics in collaboration with stakeholders
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across distributed systems
- Partner with analysts and engineers to translate business needs into data solutions
What you'll need
- Strong experience building data pipelines, models, and analytics tooling
- Expert-level SQL skills with large-scale and distributed datasets
- Proficiency in Python for data work and tooling development
- Experience with modern stacks like dbt, Airflow, or similar tools
- Ability to define business metrics and understand product funnels
- Clear communication skills for technical and business stakeholders
- Comfort owning an analytics area end-to-end in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have
- Experience building customer-facing or embedded analytics
- Background working in the ecommerce industry
