Join the security team at Forward Financing to identify vulnerabilities in software before attackers do. You will pentest core systems and AI agents, helping define testing standards for LLM applications and agent-generated code. The team moves fast with AI, requiring security testing that keeps pace with engineering velocity.
What you'll do
- Conduct manual penetration tests on all systems
- Build AI-assisted tooling to extend test coverage
- Define and implement pentesting strategies for AI
- Triage SAST findings and tune rules to reduce noise
- Perform secure code reviews for web apps and APIs
- Review AWS infrastructure for security vulnerabilities
- Support test-to-production reviews for AI-built work
- Communicate risk details to engineers for prioritization
What you'll need
- 5+ years in application or offensive security
- Hands-on pentesting and code review experience
- Deep knowledge of web apps, APIs, and AWS
- Hacker mentality with curiosity about system breaks
- Interest in using AI for workflow and testing
- Understanding of AI/LLM attack surfaces
- Experience with Ruby, Python, TypeScript, or Go
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
Nice to have
- Pentesting experience with LLM applications
- OSCP, OSWE, or comparable offensive certifications
- Background in bug-bounty or external testing
- Experience in fintech or regulated environments
