lemlist is developing an AI-native system that automates prospecting and pipeline generation for sellers. As a Senior Applied AI Engineer, you will transform large language model capabilities into robust production tools. Your work centers on agent orchestration, memory management, and evaluation to ensure reliable outcomes for thousands of customers.
What you'll do
- Optimize trade-offs between quality, latency, and cost for AI systems
- Own the evaluation and guardrails system to ensure reliability and safety
- Manage and improve the context engineering system
- Identify and implement new opportunities to enhance the AI product
- Collaborate with software engineers and product teams on agent orchestration
What you'll need
- Over ten years of experience in software development or data science
- Deep knowledge of LLM architecture, prompting, and context engineering
- Experience with vector database workflows and production systems
- Hands-on experience building agentic systems using orchestration frameworks
- Proactive mindset comfortable with high-speed and ambiguous environments
- User-centric approach with curiosity for the AI space
