You will develop core products that identify fraudsters and manage financial risk for major banks. This full-stack data science position requires owning the model lifecycle, writing production code, and collaborating across engineering and operations teams to protect consumer identities.
What you'll do
- Manage full model lifecycle from data acquisition to monitoring
- Build foundational models for fraud and financial risk products
- Research new fraud types and develop identity verification tools
- Write reliable production code for real-time decision making
- Present analyses to guide product, sales, and marketing strategies
- Collaborate with engineering to maintain data quality and access
What you'll need
- PhD plus 4 years experience or Masters plus 6 years
- Proven track record solving complex business problems with ML
- Strong end-to-end data science development skills
- Experience writing production code and tests
- Ability to communicate outcomes to senior stakeholders
- Must be legally authorized to work and live in the United States
- Startup experience is strongly preferred
Nice to have
- Familiarity with identity solutions or fintech industries
- Experience with state-of-the-art ML solutions
