Join Abacum, a business planning platform trusted by industry leaders, to shape the future of finance technology. As a Senior Back End Engineer in the Integrations team, you will lead the design of platforms that ingest and normalize business data from various ERP and accounting systems.
What you'll do
- Lead design of integrations platform for data ingestion and normalization
- Build bidirectional connectors for billing, ERP, and HRIS platforms
- Architect low-code tools and declarative DSLs for connector building
- Manage authentication flows including OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OIDC
- Ensure security and performance for high-volume financial data
- Collaborate with product teams to translate workflows into software
- Establish technical standards for data-heavy system architectures
What you'll need
- 7+ years of engineering experience with 2+ in integrations
- Strong background in Python and modern backend systems
- Experience with integration or data platforms at scale
- Proficiency with OAuth, SSO providers, and token management
- Ability to work with ERP scripting frameworks and vendor SDKs
- Pragmatic judgment on shipping speed versus architecture investment
