Truelogic is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer with MLOps expertise to join a Marketplace team. You will work at the intersection of product engineering and machine learning operations, helping to build and maintain backend systems that power search, ranking, and matching experiences.
The role requires collaborating with data scientists and engineers to bring machine learning capabilities into production reliably. You will support ML pipelines, feature stores, and real-time data infrastructure while contributing to full-stack product features.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain full-stack features for marketplace products including search and ranking
- Develop MLOps infrastructure such as model deployment pipelines and feature stores
- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models at scale
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in regular code reviews
- Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues in existing systems
- Work with data pipelines, SQL, and experimentation or A/B testing frameworks
- Communicate progress clearly and collaborate with distributed teams across time zones
What you'll need
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend skills
- Proficiency in Go, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools like Vertex AI, MLflow, or Kubeflow
- Experience with feature stores, ideally Chalk or comparable technology
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with data and feature pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure (GCP preferred)
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and model deployment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across time zones
Nice to have
- Experience with search, ranking, or recommendation systems
- Background in online marketplaces or real-time systems
- Experience with performance or latency optimization
- Mentoring engineers or frontend development experience
- Familiarity with A/B testing or AI-assisted development tools
