Truelogic is hiring a Senior Back-End Engineer with MLOps expertise to join a Marketplace team. You will work at the intersection of product engineering and machine learning operations, helping to simplify the home renting process through data-driven solutions. The role requires collaborating with data scientists and engineers to bring ML capabilities into production at scale.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain full-stack features for marketplace products like search and ranking
- Develop MLOps infrastructure including model deployment pipelines and feature stores
- Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models reliably
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in regular code reviews
- Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues
- Work with data pipelines, SQL, and experimentation frameworks
What you'll need
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong backend skills in Go, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools like Vertex AI, MLflow, or Kubeflow
- Experience with feature stores such as Chalk or similar technologies
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and model deployment
Nice to have
- Experience with search, ranking, or recommendation systems
- Background in online marketplaces or real-time systems
- Experience mentoring engineers or frontend development
- Familiarity with A/B testing or AI-assisted development tools
