Join the Marketplace team at a fast-growing real estate technology company. You will work at the intersection of product engineering and machine learning operations to simplify home renting.
Your focus will be on maintaining backend systems for search and matching experiences. You will also support model deployment, feature stores, and real-time data infrastructure in collaboration with data scientists.
What you'll do
- Build full-stack features for marketplace search and ranking
- Develop MLOps infrastructure including model deployment pipelines
- Support feature stores and real-time data pipelines
- Collaborate with data scientists to productionize ML models
- Write clean, tested code and participate in reviews
- Resolve performance and scalability issues in existing systems
- Work with SQL and A/B testing frameworks
What you'll need
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong backend skills in Go, Python, Ruby, or JS/TS
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools like Vertex AI or MLflow
- Experience with feature stores such as Chalk
- Strong SQL skills and data pipeline experience
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, preferably GCP
- Solid understanding of ML concepts and deployment
Nice to have
- Experience with search or recommendation systems
- Background in online marketplaces
- Mentoring experience
- Frontend development skills
