You will join the engineering team at Tempo, the leading time management add-on for Jira. Your focus will be on developing server-side features for products such as Tempo Timesheets, Capacity Planner, and Financial Manager.
Collaboration with product managers, designers, and QA engineers is central to this role. You will help solve complex customer problems by writing clean, efficient code and ensuring high performance and security for thousands of enterprise users.
What you'll do
- Write efficient, readable, and testable server-side code
- Develop unit, integration, and performance tests
- Conduct peer code reviews to maintain quality standards
- Solve complex problems focusing on UX, security, and speed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain Atlassian plugins
What you'll need
- 4+ years of server-side development with Java or Kotlin
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, and big-O notation
- Experience designing APIs and building scalable distributed systems
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS, SQL, and NoSQL databases
- Upper-intermediate spoken and written English skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment

- Experience with Typescript and the React ecosystem
