Yendo uses artificial intelligence to provide high-limit credit cards to individuals traditionally excluded from mainstream finance. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will collaborate with product and design teams to develop scalable solutions that help customers save on interest and fees.
What you'll do
- Participate in the product development cycle from start to finish
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams
- Contribute to improving engineering practices and hiring standards
- Experiment with solutions to solve customer problems
- Analyze system life cycles, edge cases, and failure modes
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience with backend or full stack solutions
- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript, Java, Python, or Ruby
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter
- Strong understanding of system interactions and resilience
Nice to have
- Experience with Postgres, Redis, and AWS
- Background in fintech, payments, or banking
- Experience in early stage startups
- Passion for financial inclusion and mobility
