Join the Asset Sales group to scale M-KOPA's FinTech platform, powering systems that provide smartphones and e-motorbikes to customers across Africa. You will design and operate event-driven microservices on Azure, integrating AI tools into your daily engineering workflow to enhance productivity and system resilience.
What you'll do
- Build and operate distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure
- Design systems for idempotency, retries, and failure modes
- Use observability tools to monitor production behavior
- Integrate AI tools for code generation, review, and testing
- Participate in on-call rotations to improve platform resilience
- Collaborate with distributed teams across multiple time zones
What you'll need
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development
- Experience with event-driven systems like Azure Service Bus or Kafka
- Background in microservices architecture on Azure and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana
- Comfort using AI assistants in daily engineering tasks
- DevOps mindset with experience in production ownership
- Proven ability to work effectively in remote, distributed teams
