Join the newly formed Backend Platforms team to build the foundational layers that enable product teams to ship features efficiently. You will focus on creating paved roads for API development, modernizing backend frameworks, and expanding AI-driven development environments like DevDawg and Spice.
This role involves setting architectural patterns, improving observability, and ensuring safe integration of coding agents into the workflow. You will work directly with internal engineering customers to solve meta-problems and enhance the overall developer experience.
What you'll do
- Expand cloud-based development environments and automated review tooling
- Build consistent API blueprints and authentication plumbing for all endpoints
- Modernize backend frameworks and define migration paths from Flask to FastAPI
